The check-in process was straightforward, and the female receptionist was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere during my stay, which was ideal for my short transit as I was in town for a nearby art museum visit. However, the room was not as expected. it had a musty smell and was noisy at night due to road traffic. Overall, the convenience of the location and the ease of check-in were highlights, but the room quality left something to be desired.

I had a pleasant experience during my stay. I arrived without a reservation but was allowed to view a room, which was clean and minimal. Opening the window cleared some stuffiness, and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Parking may require some effort, but I found street options without much hassle. Although it's not in the center of the action, I appreciated the overall value. I'm single and enjoy discovering places with character like this one.

Staying at Salina was like discovering a charming old book in a dusty library—unexpectedly delightful! The staff, especially Dawn, was warmer than a sunny day at the beach, making check-in a breeze. My room had a fridge big enough to hold a small party's worth of soda, and the AC was cooler than my high school crush. With clean spaces and comfy beds, it felt like a cozy escape right when I needed it.

Charming, Cozy, Clean
I felt pampered by the thoughtful decor and cute ambiance! The room was impeccably clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud-seriously, I didn’t want to get up! Plus, the customer service was great. Dawn made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests.

I had a comfortable stay with a clean room that felt freshly remodeled. The check-in process was a bit unconventional as there was no lobby, and it took a while to get assistance. Parking was limited, which could be a concern if the hotel is busy. Great for budget travelers looking for a simple stay.

The rooms are freshly remodeled, but noise can be an issue due to close parking. If your priority is a budget option just for a night’s sleep, this location delivers. Staff friendliness stands out, and the large refrigerator in the room is quite handy for snacks. The breakfast baguettes from nearby spots were a highlight and worth trying.

Absolutely fell in love with the fresh cheese bread at Waffle Love Long Beach – a definite must-try! Plus, Steelhead Coffee had the perfect brews to kickstart my mornings. Check-in was a breeze with the super nice receptionist and the street parking was a score, just 12 mins from downtown Long Beach!
Now, don't get me wrong, the room felt more like a shoebox than a hotel, but at least everything was quiet enough to catch some z's.

Decor maintains a charming aesthetic with cute accents throughout the room. Adequate space features two queen beds, a small table, and a wall-mounted TV with cable for entertainment.
Checked in through a window with no lobby, a unique but awkward experience. Sheets and blankets had stains and were poorly arranged. The bathroom had mold stains in the tub and shower curtain, and the fridge showed signs of neglect with visible grime. Bright courtyard lights shone through a curtain that was falling off its rod, contributing to an uncomfortable sleeping environment. Parking was restricted to a tight area at the back, requiring careful navigation for larger vehicles.
